Reyum is pleased to announce the opening of an exhibition entitled “Visions of the Future”. About nine months ago, we met with a group of artists and decided to take the Future as a theme for this group exhibition. The works on display at Reyum, beginning on December 31st, present the results of this collaboration project. A wide range of drawings, paintings and installations consider the future of Cambodia as well as the concept of the future in general. The exhibiting artists use a variety of styles and forms through which to represent their individual visions of the future. An accompanying 92 page full color catalogue offers examples of the work on display, artist statements about their work, artist biographies, and a short reflective essay by Dr. Ashley Thompson. Artists presenting work in the exhibition include Khun Sovanrith, Chan Lay Heng, Chan Vitharin, Chhoeun Rithy, Chim Sothy, Duong Saree, Tum Saren, Pech Song, Prom Vichet, Phy Chan Than, Vann Nath, Venn Savat, Sa Piseth, Say Saret, Soeung Vannara, Suos Sodavy, Som Sophon, Svay Ken, Hen Sophal, Long Sophea and Ok Bunnarath.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. This exhibition is made possible through generous grants from the Albert Kunstadter Family Foundation and the Kasumisou Foundation.
